Ingredients

cup
of sultanas
1
cup
of sugar
1
teaspoon
of baking soda
25
g
butter
1
cup
of boiling water
2
cups
flour
1
teaspoon
of mixed spice
1
teaspoon
of cinnamon
1
egg
1
teaspoon
vaniilla essence
Instructions
Mix sultanas , sugar, baking soda together.
Add butter chopped up, then boiling water.
Mix flour and spices together, add to mixture, stir, then egg and vanilla essence. Combine together.
Put in loaf tin and cook on 150 for and hour.
Check with knife, into cake that it comes out clean.
