Ingredients

baking powder

boiling milk

teaspoon
baking soda

flour

teaspoon
ground ginger
Instructions
Cream butter & sugar, add eggs.
Next add mashed kiwifruit and the soda dissolved in boiling milk.
Add sifted flour baking powder & ginger.
Bake in a 17.5cm greased cake tin and cook for 45 minutes at 180d or until skewer comes out clean.
Ice when cold with chocolate icing.
