Ingredients

eggs separated
125
ml
castor sugar
200
ml
flour
25
ml
cocoa
5
ml
baking powder
Pinch of salt
2
ml
vanilla essence
75
ml
milk
25
ml
butter
Instructions
Grease and paper a 22cm cake tin
Preheat oven at 180’c
Sift flour, cocoa, salt and baking powder
Melt Butter, add milk and when hot remove from Stove
Stiffly beat egg whites, add sugar and beat until dissolved, add yolks
Add hot milk to egg mixture, stir gently
Fold in dry ingredients, pour into prepared tin and bake for about 20mins
Cool and Ice
