For the sauce:

tablespoons
butter

tablespoons
flour

milk

chicken stock
from boiled chicken

cheese

lemon juice
Instructions
Boil a whole chicken, and when cool enough strip off meat place in oven serving dish.
Chop and fry onions and bacon in a little butter.
Place onions, bacon and asparagus on top of chicken.
Place butter in pan that onions and bacon were cooked, melt.
Add flour and fry for 1 minute.
Add remaining sauce ingredients and stir till thickens, and pour over chicken.
Top with breadcrumbs if desired.
Place in oven 180 c for about 30 mins or until heated through.
