Ingredients
4
lb
beetroot
cooked, diced
3
lb
onions
3
lb
peeled tomatoes
2
lb
sugar
1500
mls
malt vinegar
6
teaspoons
salt
1/4
teaspoon
cayenne pepper
Instructions
Boil everything together until onions are cooked.
Thicken with 1 tablespoon flour and 1 dessertspoon tumeric mixed with vinegar.
Cook until mixture thickens (approx 10-15 minutes)
Pour into sterilised jars.
Seal when cool.
