Ingredients
- 4 lb beetroot cooked, diced
- 3 lb onions
- 3 lb peeled tomatoes
- 2 lb sugar
- 1500 mls malt vinegar
- 6 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions
- Boil everything together until onions are cooked.
- Thicken with 1 tablespoon flour and 1 dessertspoon tumeric mixed with vinegar.
- Cook until mixture thickens (approx 10-15 minutes)
- Pour into sterilised jars.
- Seal when cool.
