Instructions
  1. Cream butter, sugar and vanilla together until light and fluffy
  2. Add egg, beating well.
  3. Sift flour and baking powder together and mix into creamed mixture.
  4. Roll heaped teaspoonsful of mixture into balls and place on oven tray
  5. Flatten slightly with a fork.
  6. Bake at 190 C for about 12 minutes until golden.
  7. Add lemon zest, cocoa, orange zest, mixed spice or sultanas for varying flavours

  1. Hi, my 6yr grandson & me made a batch of this super easy biscuit recipe. Turned out great and it was really yum. Oh! guess what? I added half cup of chocolate chips, it was super super yummy, that’s why it didn’t last. There’ll be some in everyone’s 2020 christmas stockings. Yey

  2. Hi, just a question.
    First of all, i know this isnt your recipe, as it’s happened a few times now with various recipes.. I find they fome out slightly bitter and salty. Kind of like an odd mixture of a baking powder/egg flavour.. It happens to my breads and biscuits whenever i dont add a specific flavour of any sort.
    Just hope you can help me find where I’m going wrong!
