Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups of sugar
- 1 cup of Water
- 2 tablespoon of Cocoa
- 1 1/2 cups of self-raising flour
- 125 grams of Butter
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
- 2 eggs

Instructions
- Place sugar, water, butter, cocoa into a pot and bring to the boil.
- Cool slightly then add Baking Soda followed by the rest of the ingredients.
- Beat until smooth
- Place into a lined cake tin and bake at 180deg until firm about 1 hour.
- Cool, then ice with Chocolate Icing.
