Smoked Fish Pie


This is so easy to prepare in advance and reheat when needed.

Ingredients

  • 500g smoked hoki
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup of peas
  • 1 Lge onion
  • Cracked pepper
  • fresh parsley
  • 4 large potatoes
  • White sauce= 1tbsp butter, 2tbsp flour, one cup milk.

Directions

  1. Roughly chop hoki & cook with onion.
  2. Add chopped tomatoes, peas & the juice of the lemon.
  3. Season with cracked pepper and parsley.
  4. Set aside as you make the white sauce.
  5. Make the sauce thick and add to the pan with fish.
  6. Mash the cooked potatoes.
  7. Put the fish mixture into a dish with potatoe on top and grated cheese if desired.
  8. Put into the oven and cook for 30mins on 180 before serving.
  9. Serve with garlic bread
