Chocolate Coconut Crunch Slice


This is such a yummy treat. My mum's been making it for years and so i recently tried it and it is soooo mouthwateringly amazing!! It's crunchy, chocolately and coconuty. My favourite c's! It's do simple to make and feeds heaps.

Ingredients

  • Slice
  • 150g butter
  • 3 weetbix
  • 1 T cocoa
  • 1 C coconut
  • 1 c flour
  • 1/2 C sugar
  • 1 t Baking Powder
  • Chocolate Icing
  • 200g cooking chocolate
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 25g butter

Directions

  1. Slice
  2. Melt butter and mix in dry ingredients. Press into a tin. Bake at 180 degrees until darker brown and pulled back at sides. Ice (with chocolate icing!) when hot and sprinkle with leftover coconut.
  3. Chocolate Icing
  4. Break chocolate into a warm pan and simmer until melted. Add butter and cream and keep warm, stirring constantly until it has mixed together and thickened.
