Chocolate Brownie

This is an easy never failed chocolate brownie

  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 cup cocoa
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 2/3 cup oil
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/3 cups plain flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 14 tsp salt


  1. Stir cocoa and baking soda together. Add 1/3 cup oil and stir. Add boiling water and stir until thick. Stir in eggs, sugar, rest of oil and vanilla. Add flour and baking powder. Bake 30-35 minutes at 160 degrees centigrade.



For a long time I have wanted to bake a chocolate brownie, I have been looking for a good recipe, one without too much guilt, I wanted to cut out the chocolate but still have the serious hit and I am very pleased to let everyone know that I have finally found it.
