Fudgy Gooey "Texas Sheet" Cake - The Best Ever!

As above, this is the BEST chocolate fudge cake and quite simple to make (and you don't even need REAL chocolate for it - because let's face it, who has blocks of chocolate sitting around in their pantry?)

Thanks to my Grandma for passing on the recipe.

That is seriously yummy!!! Just made it and its HUGE. Really really easy and yum :)

OMG!!!! This is so amazing, i couldnt leave it to cool, had to eat it right out of the pan.

MMmmmmm it's so EASY to make too - I whipped it up the other night and with cooking time included, I think it took me 30 mins (I've got it down to a fine art now!) and then we had it warm out of the oven for dessert. Mmmmmm

Yep, yessiree!! We started whipping this little party favourite up in the summer of '69. Back then the world was a CRAZY place. We thought the Russians were coming and those damn hippies were everywhere. Civilisation as we knew it was coming to an end. Well we started baking this little number regular like and it took a little while to get it right (as it's a tricky thing to bake anything since the accident; what with my short arms and all). But we got there, and something happened when we ate this stuff, particularly hot out of the oven. We'd send the slaves away as they were getting all buzz-kill at the time, and then WOW, it was like eating a little packet of sun-powder!!! And the world became a better place. So thank you Doris, my wife and sister. Your recipe made the world a better place.

Absolutetly divine Kerri! I can't bake to save myself but baking this cake for Mums bday the other day has boosted my confidence. So easy to make, I had everything I needed in the cupboards no going to the supermrket to purchase any extras! Tastes delicious, I'm going to try the texas sheet cake for Zary's bday. Hmmmm Nom nom nom
